When much needed renovations and lack of space threatened a sale and move, Follyn Builder stepped in to offer an alternative. A true 2-flat deconversion, this majestic Graystone 2-flat was reimagined it as a single-family home. This “new” home would allow the homeowner and her 2 teenage children to remain in the home and neighborhood they love. Plans were drawn up and John and the crew got to work. Years of wear and tear meant a complete gut of the entire structure from the roof to the basement. This new blank slate allowed for a complete reimagining of the space while preserving the vintage details where possible.

The end result is an elegant home that honors the past and functions for the future. A new expanded first floor includes and open living room and dining room with a reserved space for the baby grand piano. An expansive kitchen, butler’s pantry and family room unfold at the rear of the home.
